Oceanside Public Library - Homework Helpers & Book Buddies PSA

The City of Oceanside has three Community Resource Centers located throughout Oceanside. Each Resource Center provides a wide array of services for residents, and collaborates with community partners to offer these services at minimal or no cost. These services include social services, health and wellness classes like Zumba and aerobics, health screenings, bi-weekly food distribution through Interfaith Community Services, toddler enrichment programs, English as Second Language classes, translation assistance, computer labs, and youth and community enriching programs. In addition to these services, each Community Resource Center hosts yearly events such as Easter egg hunts, community clean-ups, holiday book drives, and National Night Out, which are free to all in attendance. City staff partner with community-based organizations, non-profits, youth-serving providers and others to host resource booths at events in an effort to outreach their services to the residents and families of Oceanside.
