Oceanside Elks Lodge with Boys and Girls Club: Shoe Shopping & Pizza Making

On February 23rd, 2022, Members of Oceanside Elks Lodge 1561 took 40 children from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad Shopping for shoes, many of who had never owned a pair of new shoes before. The children were invited back to the Lodge afterward for some fun & heartwarming activities to celebrate their time as kids. This video report from KOCT recounts this loving act of kindness.
