TOPIC ON LIVE CALL-IN SHOW
Red Light Tickets in Traffic Court will be the topic of discussion
on Tuesday, March 21st at 7:00 p.m. on Lawyers on the Line
cable television talk show.
KOCT
will open its phone lines to Oceanside viewers who are invited
to call in with their questions at 760 722-4433 from 7:00
p.m. and 8:00 p.m. The
program airs live on Cox cable channel 18 in Oceanside.
 Panelists
appearing on the program will be Craig Romo, a Community
Service Officer with the Oceanside Police Department who is
responsible for all facets of the camera operation in Oceanside,
 Richard
L. Duquette, Esq., a Carlsbad-based trial attorney who
focuses his practice on criminal and injury cases,
 and
Commissioner Ernest M. Gross, who is with the Traffic/Minor
Offense Division of the San Diego County Superior Court in
Vista. For the past three years he has heard cases including
traffic offenses which are red light cases throughout San
Diego and Oceanside.
Program
host Kenneth R. Lynch, J.D., Ph.D. and panelists will
discuss how red light cameras work, what evidence the City
must show to prove a red light case, and how a defendant might
defend against a red light case.
