KOCT Public Access Programming

Public Access Television generally airs
Saturdays from 10:00am to 1:00pm and
Sundays from 12:30pm to 7:30pm on KOCT cable channel 18

A contract agreement with the City of Oceanside stipulates that KOCT is responsible for PEG (Public, Educational, and Government) access.

If you are an Oceanside resident and would like to submit a program for airing on public access please download the appropriate form from the options below which detail the technical and administrative requirements for our public access programming.

KOCT also offers community organizations an opportunity to notify Oceanside residents of what events are coming up by appearing as a guest on Oceanside Spectrum.

KOCT Public Access - Oceanside Spectrum Sign-Up

KOCT-TV invites civic clubs, nonprofit organizations and members of the faith and education communities to appear on Oceanside Spectrum. If you live, work or go to school in Oceanside, you are invited to call the station at 760 722-4433 to reserve a free five-minute interview with show host Elaine Swann.

Not for profit organizations are invited to talk about an upcoming event, solicit members or volunteers, or share about their good works. Call to reserve your space well in advance of the event you wish to promote.

Oceanside Spectrum is taped at KOCT’s Oceanside studios at 3038 Industry Street, Suite 101. KOCT is a nonprofit, non-commercial television station and Oceanside Spectrum is prohibited from advertising commercial events or businesses.
